The In-line filters, are direct descendents of the original Beach filters from 50 years ago. These units are constructed of polyurethane coated aluminum, have 2 replaceable elements, and can be purchased with an *acrylic tube (C Models), or aluminum with sight glass tube (AW Models) for ease of inspection, or closed aluminum tube (AL Models) to suit the desired application.

The acrylic tube is not Polyclear II® and should not be used around solvents, phosphates, esters, etc. or synthetic lubricants. Beach recommends either the polyurethane units, aluminum or aluminum with sight glass housings for these environments.
